Let´s speak about the livestock´s timings among the daily Running of the Bulls. Up to this year, the fastest one has been Miura with a mark of 2'13 "established on July 9th 2006, followed by Victoriano del Ríowith a running of the bulls speed of 2´ 14´´ on July 10th 2013 and Torrestrellawith 2´15´´ on July 10, 1997. However, these timings are taken from specific runnings of the bulls. If we look at the average speed of all livestocks included in the San Fermin 2014 Running of the Bulls Program we clearly see that the fastest one is Victoriano del Río as we has appeared only 4 times during the San Fermin Festival and achieved a fantastic mark of 2'17 ". Therefore we can tell he has the fastest bulls in recent years and have a strong possibility of achieving this mark during this year´s San Fermin Festival. Before making your mind it´s important to consider these other two livestocks: Torrestrellawhich follows with splendid 3´04´´ and Fuente Ymbro with 3'17 " but remember that this is an average (9 appeareances) as this last livestock has been the slowest of the San Fermin Festival history with a 6´23´´ on July 9th2010. Up to date, we found out that the slowest livestock have been Miura andDolores Aguirre 3'36 ". We must say is not because they are too slow but because they must be taken into account that they have appeared in 14 and 34 times along Running of the Bulls history since 1982 and this can be the main reason to have a lower average that their livestock competitors.
If you wonder which Livestock has starred on the “Goring Section” we have the facts too! Jandilla has 27, Torrestrella21, Dolores Aguirre 14 and Miura 12. To establish the danger of these animals we will use their goring average by Running of the Bulls and we deeply affirm that Jandilla is the scariest one as we can tell that has an index of 1.92 gored runners by each running of the bulls that has participated, followed by Torrestrella with 1.75 runners and Dolores Aguirre 1 runners.
